Notes - Minna J Schulz was born Wilhelmina on July 6, 1854 in Kolberg, Prussia. She came to the United States with her mother, Marie Devantier Schulz and nine siblings in August of 1869. Her family first settled in Buffalo, New York where the last child was born, then moved to Cleveland, Ohio. She married Daniel M. Averill on July 24, 1878 and moved to nearby Painesville, Ohio. She died on November 27, 1926 in Painesville, Ohio and is buried in the Evergreen Cemetery with her husband.
